Before graduating from University with a Fashion degree, Daniel already had an agent in London and very quickly, gained another agent in New York, upon graduation. Through these agencies, he worked for several fashion houses  including, Jean Paul Gaultier and Yves St Laurent producing fabric designs.

At the same time he was gaining national recognition as a graphic designer, designing award winning flyers for Icon (No.1 Club in the UK), the 051 club and Bubblegum Casino amongst others. Culminating in a commission from the Tate Gallery and Gilbert & George, to design the promotional material for the Opening Party, of the artists first ever retrospective exhibition.

After a brief time working for a textile agent in New York and designing for a company based in Amsterdam, Daniel decided to move to London, where he became a freelance Fashion Stylist. Working on advertising, TV, film and music projects. He gained a name for himself for being the creative force behind many acclaimed fashion campaigns for some of London’s cutting-edge designers. Most notably All Saints, Giant and Sola Sobo.

It didn’t take long for Daniel’s creative talents to be recognised, by the establishment. Where he quickly took on the role of Art Director and began to work on accounts such as Laura Ashley, EMI records and Westminster City Council. It was around this time that the Face magazine wrote ‘this is one talent you are going to have to watch’.

3 years ago Daniel decided to return to his home the North of England and in that time has established himself as one of a new breed of design agency offering design solutions across a wide spectrum of media.

In 2006 as a vehicle to promote his design business, Daniel launched, a online magazine about fashionable Harrogate.  In just over a year this promotional tool, has grown into a magazine in it’s own right. With celebrity interviews, Fashion shoots, national advertisers, 11 writers and 2 photographers. In July 2007, was voted Best Online Magazine and celebrated 1 million page loads.

Throughout his career Daniel has exhibited his work in several countries including Germany, Italy, USA with many shows in the UK. Press coverage about him and his work has been published in over 200 International/National magazines/newspapers and websites. He also has several pieces of work in the much celebrated counter culture book, ‘High Flyers’ published by Booth-Clibborn Editions.

While at University himself, Daniel realised the importance of learning from practitioners and therefore has always made time to lecture. He has done so  at the following universities, colleges and schools. Liverpool John Moores University, University of Wales in Cardiff, Jacob Krammer School of Art Leeds,  Joseph Priestley College & Geoffrey Chaucer Technology College.

He also had involvement in following educational programmes. Architecture of the Emotions in association with London Open House and Ahh..., The Globe Theatre Shakespeare Birthday Celebration & Gallery 37 in association with Leeds City Council.
